Embark on an adventure through the attractions of Ushuaia, from its museums to the bustling Argentinean leather markets. Alternatively, you can opt to extend your relaxation at the hotel. Join us for the evening briefing at the Arakur, where you can engage with fellow travelers and seek answers to any inquiries you may have.

Begin your day by either trekking through nature, discovering Ushuaia's charms, or simply relaxing at the resort until the transfer to the ship in the afternoon. Excitement mounts as you're welcomed on board by the Expedition Team and ship crew, followed by a briefing on safety and orientation, topped off with a vibrant Captain’s Welcome Dinner. Your journey to Antarctica has officially commenced!

As you lay eyes on your initial, unforgettable view of an iceberg, the true magnitude of your impending journey starts to dawn on you. We've arrived at the volcanic South Shetland Islands, renowned for their astonishing richness and pristine natural allure – on land, in the sea, and in the skies above. From the secure and cozy confines of your Zodiac, skillfully maneuvering through the early season's floating ice and smaller icebergs, you eagerly anticipate your inaugural encounter with the splendor of Antarctica.

As we venture deeper into Antarctica's otherworldly scenery, you're compelled to inhale deeply, contemplating the awe that must have gripped the early Antarctic explorers – the pioneers who first left their mark on the continent's freshly fallen snow. You'll witness an abundance of penguins joyfully returning to shore, eager to reunite with their partners and commence nest-building, while nearby, yawning Weddell seals provide entertaining antics from the ice. With Seaventure's robust ice-strengthened hull, we'll let the spirit of exploration guide us into some of Antarctica's most secluded and picturesque bays and harbors, where the possibility of landing on sea ice may arise. The aim is to embark on outings twice daily, offering you approximately six or more hours each day to intimately experience Antarctica. Even while onboard the ship, we maintain close proximity to the action as we navigate through ice, maneuver around icebergs, and pause to admire whales breaching right before the eyes. Whether you're in a kayak or a Zodiac, remember to observe both above and below the water's surface. During this season, the water is exceptionally clear, providing ample opportunities for wildlife encounters at every turn.

We bid farewell to this enchanting locale and begin the journey northward, traversing the renowned Drake Passage once more. Before concluding the expedition, we gather for one final celebration, reliving the collective adventures through a captivating photography slideshow. The experience culminates with a festive and memorable last meal enjoyed together.
