This 13-day itinerary offers an immersive experience through the diverse landscapes and cultures of Chile and Argentina. The journey begins in Santiago, Chile, with a city tour exploring its historic and modern sites. Next, you travel south to Puerto Varas, stopping at the German-influenced village of Frutillar and exploring the stunning Osorno Volcano. You will be collected from your hotel for your tour of Santiago.
Visit both the old and new areas of the city. Highlights include the Plaza de Armas, the city's central square and the heart of the city’s old colonial core. The Plaza de Armas is home to the beautiful 18th century Metropolitan Cathedral, the early 19th century Royal Court Palace that houses the Natural History Museum and the Central Post Office completed in 1882. The Chess Club of Chile also meets here most days, a great opportunity to watch the locals immersed in a game of chess. On completion of your tour, you will be taken to your hotel.
FD Valparaiso Tour
This morning you will be collected from your hotel to visit two of central Chile's most popular seaside towns: Valparaiso and Viña del Mar. We will start with one of the most important ports in Chile; Valparaiso. It was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site thanks to its colourful beauty and the uniqueness of its location on the hills, which create a natural Amphitheatre with the ocean as its stage. We will visit Cerro Alegre, where you can truly appreciate the magic of the city, with its picturesque funiculars, multi-coloured neighbourhoods and unforgettable sea views. You will have time for lunch (not included on tour price) in one of the numerous restaurants in the city. Afterwards, we will visit Viña del Mar, known as the “Garden City”, for originally being surrounded by largely green areas and for now preserving its extensive and beautiful urban gardens, with the Pacific Ocean as its backdrop. Vina del Mar stands out for its beautiful architecture, its impressive palaces and famous Flower Clock, photographed by tourists from all over the world. At the end of the tour, we will return to Santiago and you will be taken to your hotel.

This morning you will head towards Frutillar, a charming village on the bank of the huge Llanquihue Lake. Your tour will highlight the German-influenced architecture the village is so well known for, which was developed by the immigrants who arrived around 1853. Before returning to your hotel in Puerto Varas you will visit the open-air German museum to learn more about the history of this picturesque town and about the period the first German settlers arrived.

Located just 45km from Puerto Varas on the way to Ensenada, is the Osorno Volcano and its ski center‚ located at 1250 meters above sea level‚ this place offers us a panoramic view of Lake Llanquihue and the Andes Mountains‚ cataloging this Volcano as one of the most visited points of the lake district.
This excursion will give us the possibility of access through a modern chairlift system (not included) up to 1450 or 1700 meters. high where we will be at the foot of the glacier.

This excursion visits the northern area of the Nahuel Huapi National Park, the famous Road of the 7 Lakes and the Villages of Villa la Angostura and San Martín de los Andes. The itinerary starts by following the road around the Lake Nahuel Huapi. Then we do short stop at Villa La Angostura.Then we continue along the well known “Seven Lakes Road” passing by the Lakes: Correntoso, Espejo, Hermoso, Machónico, Villarino, Falkner and Lacar. We´ll pick a special spot to sit down and enjoy a pic-nick lunch beside one of these lakes. Then we do a short stop at San Martín de los Andes before starting the return to Bariloche.

Boat Trip to Arrayanes Wood & Victoria Island
The most traditional boat trip in the Nahuel Huapi National Park. Visit the world famous and unique Arrayanes forest. Setting sail from Puerto Pañuelo, you will arrive at the Quetrihue Peninsula after an hour. Here you can admire the magnificence of the unique Arrayanes forest and, walking along a decked path, you will be able to see many different species. Next you will set sail to Victoria Island, arriving at Puerto Anchorena after about 40 minutes. This trip has only an audio-guide. Includes return transfers from Bariloche to Puerto Pañuelo on a shared basis from certain downtown hotels only (consult route). A small port fee and the national park entrance fee should be paid locally.

Another soft and gentle walk will lead us to our last stop, where you will be able to enjoy a drink. Recoleta is one of the most important gastronomics areas of Buenos Aires. That's why knowing this place you will really get to know the essence of this area.
