If the Galápagos Islands have been on your mind, there’s no better time than now to plan your visit. Launching in April 2025, Hermes will be the newest and most luxurious catamaran exploring this wildlife-rich archipelago, making it a must-add to your travel wish list.
This ultra-luxurious vessel is designed to provide a premier experience of the Galápagos. Hermes stands out as the largest catamaran operating in the islands and the largest commercial catamaran in the world.
With only 12 suites accommodating up to 20 passengers, Hermes offers an exclusive and intimate journey. Each suite features a private balcony and a Jacuzzi positioned next to a panoramic window, allowing guests to enjoy breathtaking views while relaxing. Ten of these suites are 375 square feet, designed for families and accommodating up to three guests (two adults and one child under 12). The remaining two suites, at 236 square feet, cater specifically to solo travelers, eliminating single supplements. Guests can expect personalized service, with two butlers attending to every need, from unpacking luggage to arranging spa appointments and managing laundry.
The vessel offers expansive public areas, totaling 7,800 square feet, which include ten social spaces such as an aperitif lounge, a hammam, and a sun deck with a hot tub. Dining options include Paradiso, an elegant dining hall, and Sole e Luna, an outdoor restaurant, both featuring menus crafted by renowned Ecuadorian chef Andrés Robles Montenegro, whose credentials include Relais & Châteaux. Guests can also enjoy mixology lessons and cooking classes as part of the culinary program.
For activities, two expert naturalist guides will lead small groups of 10 on hiking, snorkeling, and kayaking excursions, sharing insights about the diverse wildlife, from iconic blue-footed boobies to marine iguanas. Flexible itineraries range from four to 15 days, with options to combine trips, making it easier than ever to create your dream Galápagos adventure.
Itineraries start with five-day journeys and extend up to 15-day cruises.
